View machine

Urban quarter, on the isthmus between Trummen and Växjösjön, with the best possible view of the lake. To make sure we maximize the water views, we developed a generative analysis tool called the View Machine.

The View Machine, shows how much view each apartment has and also gives a grading of the quality of the view. Each apartment at Trummens Strand has been designed to maximize sea views and the design of the apartments has been influenced by the results of the View Machine.

The View Machine operates in two different modes, either as a pure analysis tool, or as an optimization tool that suggests the location and design of buildings to maximize the view of the water.
