Solar and wind - local energy production

Solar and wind - local energy production

The energy of the future is renewable, locally produced and seen as a natural part of the building.

A major transition towards a fossil-free society is currently underway - in Sweden and the rest of the world. Local energy production is one of the components that will contribute to achieving this goal, and at FOJAB we are actively working to integrate solar and wind power into several of our projects. With our specialist expertise, we can, for example, perform LCC calculations that show which areas are best suited for the establishment of solar cells, and our great commitment to solar energy has, among other things, led to FOJAB sitting on the board of Solar Region Skåne.

FOJAB works with all types of energy production integrated into the building. For example, local DC grids that directly use or store the electricity generated, behavioral changes and nudging that affect electricity consumption - both at the individual and organizational level, the possibility of using the batteries of electric cars to balance the peaks in consumption and smart facades that generate electricity from wind and sun.

At FOJAB, we are constantly exploring how to integrate new knowledge into our projects.
