FOJAB is the only Swedish architectural firm to be shortlisted for a competition in Iceland, designing a new district near the well known Sky Lagoon in the capital area. Among 37 international teams, FOJAB, together with consultant Ramboll, is one of five selected to advance to stage 2 of the competition.

Iceland is enlisting the help of Sweden's FOJAB in the country's largest urban development project, as it rolls out a high-quality public transport system for the capital region. ”FOJAB comes in with bold ideas and helps us see the possibilities,” says project manager Hallbjörn R. FOJAB's proposal will be the basis for the development of Berga trädgårdsstad, a new district in Eslöv. The task was to develop a structure for the new district in the form of a garden city with a focus on sustainability, based on Eslöv's identity.
Science Village in Lund will be an international hotspot and a creative research center that can compete with similar places in the world. We were commissioned to take a holistic approach to the design.
