Inventory of furnishings

A well-considered inventory of existing furniture is the basis for a sustainable, cost-effective and aesthetically strong interior design. We work based on a clear four-step method that helps us make use of what you already have - and at the same time create the right conditions for an updated interior design concept.

Step 1 - We map the existing furnishings
We always start by going through all existing furniture and loose furnishings. Here we inventory the number, condition, function and quality. The aim is to create a complete picture of what resources can be reused and how they can contribute to the future environment.

Step 2 - We assess the potential of each piece of furniture
The next step is to assess each product according to its potential. We analyze whether the furniture can be used as it is, whether it needs to be reconditioned or reupholstered, or whether it is best complemented with newly produced parts. If necessary, we also contact second-hand furniture dealers for those products that are not to be taken further.

Step 3 - We create a clear decision-making basis
Once the inventory is complete, we compile the results in a clear document that guides the project's further decisions. Here we clarify which furniture:

  1. can be used as is
  2. can be used after reconditioning
  3.  can be sold or donated for reuse by another operator
  4. should be passed on for waste management - preferably recycling

This gives you a solid basis for making well-balanced decisions based on budget, sustainability and function.

Step 4 - We integrate the inventory into the new concept
Finally, we weave the inventory results into the whole. By combining recycled furniture with selected new purchases, we create a well-thought-out interior design concept that feels new, sustainable and fully adapted to your needs.
