The building was designed by FOJAB architects through Per Aage Nilsson, Niklas Sonestad and Bernt Borgestig.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The justification reads:<br \/>\n\"With the construction of its office and company building, Sauer Danfoss demonstrates that it is possible to achieve a building of high architectural value with relatively simple means.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Through meticulous detailing and elegant coloring.<\/li>\n<li>Through a window arrangement that is consistent with the division of the facade panels in the facade.<\/li>\n<li>By designing the water drainage as an integral part of the facade.<\/li>\n<li>By seeing the signage system as an important part of the whole, both in terms of size, color and placement.<\/li>\n<li>Through the sparing use of color in the facade. Black on the outer shell and white as the fa\u00e7ade folds into the building. Silver gray columns, water drainage and solar shading.<\/li>\n<li>By elegantly linking the factory and office parts of the building.<\/li>\n<li>By incorporating the solar shading as an integral part of the fa\u00e7ade<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Overall, the building is well coherent and contemporary in terms of architecture, color scheme and choice of materials.\"<\/p>\n<p>The award was presented during the \u00c4lmhult Days on August 27, 2011.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00c4lmhults Milj\u00f6- och byggn\u00e4mnd har beslutat att tilldela Sauer Danfoss hus vid Sk\u00e5nev\u00e4gen 2011 \u00e5rs byggnadspris.
